because I can...

and
mostly because you all make me feel like I can
I'm sharing more photos from the senior photo shoot
I did a week and a half ago

this doll and her mom will be here
wednesday evening for their consultation

and
as I finish the last of my pre-editing
I'm
a little giddy
a little nervous
a little excited
and
have my fingers crossed that I captured what they were looking for

  1. See, here's the thing...most people who come to a photographer really don't know exactly what they're looking for; they may have a vague idea. They most certainly have a hope.

They only know it when you're creative eye captures it for their consideration and that's when you get to hear, "Wow! That's really more than I hoped and exactly what I wanted."

And, there's no question that's what you're going to hear when you show this client your images.

  2. They will love these shots, Beth! I think you've captured a fun, youthful spirit in each take. I hope your weekend is fairing well. :)

  3. The second one today is SO gorgeous. Textured background, expression that says "What great new thing will happen next?" and lighting that thrills me to the depths of my photographer's soul And I loved the ripped-knee jeans, so au courant now and likely viewed as a curiosity many years from now (like those baby blue tuxedos with the ruffled shirts with blue thread edging from many years ago).

  4. Just beautiful, I am sure they will love them. I doubt that girl ever takes a bad picture, you my friend would never let that happen. you have an eye that brings out the personality that is for sure.

  9. I can see the ones that she will like best and I can see the ones that her mom will like best --- which is the greatest gift you will give them with these beautiful images...everyone goes home happy.
