what ???

This was outside the gas station yesterday.
At first it made me laugh....and then I cringed a little.
Do you think someone out there wanted to apply for a job here,
but then saw the sign and mumbled to himself,
"quality.....hmmm......
I'm not sure if I fit that description"
and decided instead
to go back home, feeling like a loser ?
I mean really....
Isn't everyone a quality person....
somehow, in some capacity ?
And who are we to judge ?
Now don't get me wrong....
they might not have the right talent or skills for the job,
but quality.
~qual-i-ty~
kwa-le-te/adj.
1:peculiar and essential character:nature
2:degree of excellence
3:high social status
4:a distinguishing attribute
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WE are all human beings....
WE have opposing thumbs...
isn't just that a HUGE and wonderful quality ???
  1. Guess what? I am having a mini crying jag at work because I made a little mistake...so I needed to take a few moments for myself....came to your blog and this is what I find!!!!
    Thanks for the pep talk!!! (she says with tears rolling down her face)
    Don't worry about me though, Jane brought me a Starbucks. I will get a hold of myself, but it is just so refreshing to have such an understanding and wise post from you.
    Also, did you see I am currently reading that book you recommended to me? It is very good.
    Okay, I feel better.
    love
  2. I'd feel very offended if I already was working in there! Because, of course, they're indicating a change of policy about quality of staff. Who thinks of these things?
    Thanks for sharing.
  3. I agree. We have thumbs and that says a lot. Mr. Gypsy, on the other hand, does not have thumbs. (He's also not a person, but...) This means he can't open his own Fancy Feast or unlatch the window when he wants some fresh air. We quality people, on the other hand (or with both) can open all the Fancy Feast we want!
    Really, this is very good. You nailed it!
  4. What a great post! I also like the ads that want "mature" individuals. I kinda prefer being immature, it is much more entertaining!
  5. I agree with all the girls and their comments. I also wanted to drop by and say thank you for posting a comment on my blog and for the info on your local fleas. I intend to go to the one in Wheaton and also to the flea in St Charles, IL. I also know that there is another one in Sandwich, IL. Closer to me in Naperville if we decide to move there.
    Thanks again and have a happy day!
    P.S. I just wanted you to know that the name of your blog has stuck in my mind because YOU are right DOORS are EVERYWHERE.... I just need to the courage to OPEN THEM!
    Sincerely,
    Angelica
  6. this is funny and somehow horrible.
    who decided to put that on their sign?
    I actually collect photos of signs we come across in the city. There are some crazy ones. funny ones, weired ones.
    Thanks for reminding us we are QUALITY.
