where the beauty is...

there was no beginning. there was no end
just strings of rain beads hanging from a dark cold sky
singing
~
beads of rain that had been carefully strung on fishing line by the most talented of hands
they didn't shine
they didn't have to
~
beauty doesn't always shine
~
the rainy day softened my heart. prevented me from moving too fast
~
today
the sun is dancing. i can hear it. it makes music you know.
just like the rain beads
but
different
~
today i hear feathers and tip toeing if i sit still
yesterday
i heard whispers and flutes breathing together like a newborn
~
the sun is calling me now. asking me to make my own music.
do you hear it. the music. the dancing. the singing.
~
somehow i knew you did

  11. You write beautifully, you know.

It's been raining gently all day long and I am so glad for the earth. The water was very much needed.

  13. Raining here as well. Has been for DAYS. The rivers are flooding and the sweethess is wearing off and becoming a drip, drip, drip---WHERE THE HECK IS THE SUN!!!

But I loved your poetry and your photo and the way you made it so mellow.

  14. Sun is shining and birds are singing! Rains have passed and left their glorious moisture on needy seedlings and plants.
    Beautiful

  18. what a wonderful photo... one of those that draws you in and has no words although you want to tell everyone about it and then you read the words below it and you go: oh, there they are

    :)

  19. Today I hear feathers tiptoeing.

I want to live in your head. I want the words that come out of my brain to be as eloquent and expressive as these.

    Absolutely divine.
