trying to decide.....

I've been looking at a number of
photography sites this weekend
and many of them
have
"left their mark"
on their
photos
with either
a water mark
or
their name
so I've been playing around
trying to figure out if
I should be doing the same thing
~~~~~
or
if I need to do it
to protect myself
and
my clients
{not that the goose really cares}
~~~~~
so
if anyone has any suggestions
based on blogging
and
photos
the right and the wrong
the good, the bad and the ugly
please let me know
I'll listen

  2. yes, yes, mark your photography...the world is a wonderful place full of honesty and light, but sometimes, you know, a girl just should use some protection...xo

  3. The bottom one looks great. I have always wondered about this with the art on my website too. Guess you can never be too safe, huh? Great stairs btw.

  6. Hi Beth!
    Regarding the watermark -- I think it's totally up to you but I personally choose not to use them on my blog. I feel it takes away from the look of the blog, plus my photos are not high-resolution enough to be copied and printed. Just a thought. Let me know what you decide to do.

    Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your gorgeous poem that you left on my blog -- what a gift!

  7. Hi, Beth, it's so good to be back!

    I have seen the watermarks, too, and I suspect if I was a photographer who might actually want to sell something (outside of my little craft shows when I do the cards with photos), I'd probably want to mark it. As it is, I don't worry about it, because I don't like the look on my blog so much as I do just plain.

    But having said that, if I was planning on really working with them outside, I would certainly think about it. And I liked the one at the bottom with Beth's Photos. Although, I suppose someone could crop that out easily enough if they were ratty enough to use your work in the first place...
