loving summer....

they loved picking berries

while
i loved playing around with my depth of field
and
making them blurry
and
watching them get so excited
when i said
"there's even more berries over here"

i'm not sure who had the most fun
but
i do know
that
summer
~in the book of beth~
is
spelled
l.o.v.e.
*
so
go out today
and
do at least one thing that you love to do
*
these are the older brothers
to the 6 month old whose photo shoot i did last week
~those photos will be up soon~
and
while he was busy nursing
i followed them to the berry patch
*
i love what i do

  1. I love what you do, too!
Sweet shots here. My new lens comes today! I'm getting a Lensbaby Composer as an early birthday present to myself.
My birthday is around Thanksgiving, so I'll have plenty of time to practice.

  2. Just settling back into summer at home after some time up North and some distressing/comforting time with my sweet Mom who broke her tibia really badly ! Feeling the need to really be in the day today - brief blog post, time on the back deck shooing squirrels off of my tomato plants and getting the Yellow Lab to a watering hole...here's to soaking up the summer day !
    Big Love !

  10. Your love shows through in all the pictures, I would like to know who ate the most berries, and I loved that he was picking them and putting them in a butterfly net. hugs to you and have a great day.

  22. talke about bringing back memories...when i was a kid we used to hunt for berries at my grandmothers house. she used to hate for us to go down by the woods because 'the berries bring them snakes' so we'd have to eat them right there, bugs and all. Of course we'd lie when she'd ask us where we had been never thinking about the berry juice on our teeth, lips and and hands, LOL
