who lives really far away
in the land of

  1. if this picture doesn't put one in the winter spirit i don't know what would. it's beautiful.

i'm sure Target appreciates your business very much. we have to travel an hour and a half to the nearest Target so all my shopping goes to Wal- Mart. have a great day.

  5. Yikes. And I have the bulk of the shopping left to do. I am slow to build to this frenzy. Trying to avoid it usually.

Yesterday I enjoyed the glitter and light and textures of the decorations, and the waiting. That is important too. The hope.

  7. Repeatedly I find that you are a woman after my own heart! This pretty much seals it for me...

I have had a love affair with Target for the last 20 plus years... as much as I hate to admit I could BE that old.

  8. Happy Shopping ! Target has lots of my cash too - them and Marshalls and TJ Maxx. Viva la bargain hunting !
Gorgeous photo work these days, beth. Do you realize how far you have come ? I hope so, talented One.
    Big love to you !

  12. Gorgeous scene! I can hear the snow crunch as you walked along to take this shot...

  13. Love the header, loooove you, and love Sperlygirl!!

There isn't a Tarzhay within 45 minutes of our town, and that is how I know we could never settle our gypsy bones here. No bookstores, no quaint little coffeeshops, nada...
So, we will wander again, the only question now is...where to? haha!

    Happy hunting at Target!

  14. I never think about going to Target, but now I have a reason to go - frozen spinach and goat cheese pizza.

Love the new banner you created for suzanne herself. Beautiful!

  15. You are so funny.
We don't have Target up here, which is probably a good thing, or they would have all my money too!

You are a master craftswoman when it comes to layering photos, my friend. Beautiful banner.

  27. Great banner, and I found waldo.
    have fun at target.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh, I wish I were there. I can feel and smell the crispness of the air!

    ReplyDelete
  29. You do such a great job on those banners. I need to learn how to do that too.

Wish I had a Target close by...I have to drive 35 miles to the closest Target!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yes I agree with you- I think Target charges JUST to walk in the door (you just don't see it on the receipt- they keep that fee carefully hidden). Where my money has been going is JoANN's- even with my teacher discount it is still dangerous (more so!). What a beautiful winter shot-that could be a card!

  31. i have my own version of your target shop, and oh dear... but it can't be helped, heee heee heeee

  32. Who among us doesn't luv Target?

Wishing all good things for you and your family this holiday season, Beth.

It's always a pleasure to visit your blog.

  33. i've taught myself to stay out of Target. it's dangerous in there.

  34. well dangerous for the wallet i mean.

  35. Yes, that evil place steals my money too. I'd only been in Target once or twice before one came to live at the bottom of the hill. Now we're fast friends. In the early days of my singlehood, I was so pathetic that I'd spend Saturday evenings wandering the aisles of Target. It was preferable to watching another three hours of HGTV.
