it started out as a simple lonely leaf...

and
who knows
maybe now
it will be responsible
for a line of greeting cards
or
post cards
or
framed
and
hung on my wall
or
maybe your wall
all I know for sure
is that these are so much fun to make

NOTES
~~
did you know about the "gift of jewels" that se'lah is hosting
~
an entire week of give-aways
well
today she is showing what I am giving away to a lucky winner
so hustle your little booty over there and leave a comment if you want to win
a piece of my art
~~
and
of course while you're there
check out the other artists and their gifts
~~
remember mark
well he has another blog that needed a little tender loving care
so I made him a man banner for it
and
now it's ready for visitors

  8. I really like what you created...such a simple design using one lonely leaf. I also like your message that goes with your leaf theme. That would make a perfect card.

Someday I hope to explore more in the area of photography.

  9. The last one especially spoke to me. I love seeing the before and after, from photo to print. The process to me is just as fascinating as the finished result. Okay off to check out your links!!

  10. These are mah-velous, Beth. But even more marvelous was catching up on the last several days of your posts while watching the sky turn red-violet, then amethyst, then finally settle into a faint pink below that graduates through the lavender range over to blue, growing faintly more intense as I look up-up-up, but still a soft, soft powdery blue of a still morning, just after sunrise. I'm waiting for the eagle, who flies between my house and my neighbor's each morning, about this time, on his way to the pond. He always makes a point of dipping his beak and showing me his snow white head. He's close enough that I can see the yellow rings in his eyes. That's the magic of my morning. (I think I just created today's post).

  18. I love those - all of them! I would buy those. I was thinking this morning about creating a line of cards - I often don't like the really serious ones but the funny ones are often too, well, inappropriate. I was thinking something more down the middle, I even came up with a name for the line "Middle of the Road", I can see the graphic in my minds eye too. Don't you love how these things seem to be on wavelengths that we can tune into?
