Memory Jar...the photo jars my thoughts of the kitty left behind in Holland. I can't bring her to Texas with me in the spring, it's too hot. I will reunite with her in three weeks! xo Jenny
I have alway thought that if there is reincarnation I wouldn't mind returning as a cat...that belongs to a loving owner of course:) This one looks very content.
I had a cat named Sargeant who used to walk me to the bus in the am and wait for me at the stop in the afternoon. A big old fat cat at 20 lbs with battle scars and half an ear...kitties are just great when they want to be. lol
When I read "Fat and Happy", I thought for sure there would be a picture of me. lol But....the neighbor's cat is way cuter than I am. What fun photos and, of course, your words are always perfect.
Is it windy in southern WI today? Blowing like crazy up here in Green Bay.
I loved this...all of it. The cat reminded me of one I had when my girls were small. His name was Ralph, and he used to beat up dogs standing on his back legs and would box them. He was gynormous and never seemed to ever lose!___=^..^=___Kittie
Don't you love a cat that acts like a dog? Gypsy does that rather often and it makes me smile. There is something about cat stretch that makes me believe it could be the remedy to all ills in the universe -- to stretch to long and fully and to so savor that moment in the sun, that bit of tactile awareness that scratching a chin on a rock can bring. Oh, you have captured the true essence of cat here and I love it!
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
