Ellie is coming over to play with your spring-depressed pooch. Ellie said those very same pup words to me, too, this morning. I NEED a treat!
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely precious baby! Mine has been saying exactly the same thing... "you promised me romps in the warm sunshine"... I think napping until June is the perfect solution!
ReplyDeleteSleeping until June? Tell her it's just around the bend (the other bend);-)
ReplyDeleteholy cuteness batman!!!
ReplyDeletewoke up to the decorah eagles covered in snow....this is so depressing and here I am complaining about being too warm already.

Spring is definitely at our house... you can send your pup over to play if you like. No need to go back to sleep little fella.

Sophie is a cutie for sure. hope spring arrives soon for us all. hugs.
ReplyDeleteToo damn cute! Yes...sleep a bit more Sophie...spring will come when you wake up ;)
ReplyDeleteWe just came inside because it started raining, hard, will probably turn to snow soon. I had to call Larry over to look at your post, I knew the sweet puppy face would get him and that he would understand about the weather but mostly because I knew he would love and appreciate your photos so much, he has a thing for B&W photography.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that you always make me smile!
Oh, Sophie, don't I know your woe.
ReplyDeleteTreats fix everything, don't ya know.
Happy to say that we have rain but it is raw out there.
ReplyDeleteThe trip to Virginia where spring is in full bloom helped me more than I realized ! Hope today was just a little fluke...
Hugs to you and Miss Sophie !
How can you feed my puppy lust so shamelessly?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that puppy is precious!! Cute post (and I'm so sorry about that rascal, Spring!)
ReplyDeleteI chuckled out loud at your fitting flow of words and that sweet, sweet face! Thanks for this piece of sunshine on this cold, dreary, rainy day.
ReplyDeleteToo cute - what a face! And - I saw that "bad-ass you" did find signs of spring but forgot to usher winter out the door. He is always reluctant to leave.
ReplyDeleteI know just how this pupmeister feels! I live in Michigan, same here! Wonderful blog, fab photos, my first visit. I'll be back! Margie

Oh..how can you not smile and laugh at this!! So sorry to hear you're having snow...spring will come...and sleeping until June sounds like an excellent plan!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Journalling through photos. I love this post. We often give our dog a voice which is alot of fun. Love your blog. Charmaine
ReplyDeleteBeth, this was way to cute and creative. I so relate to Sophie's distress. But treats ... well, they fix everything!
ReplyDeleteReena
I wish I had a dog. I know that would make my pain a little better. When I visit my granddogs in West Sacramento, just the act of petting them seems to make everything better.
ReplyDeleteWhat marvelous pictures of your beloved pet!
too cute for words.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteI.want.spring.
Your dog is adorable.
ReplyDeletewhat a precious post...sucky weather, but an adorable story!
ReplyDeleteOh, this little guy is too adorable and I love your narratives. What breed of dog is this?
