the first day of school, for almost all the students here in the madison area,
was the end of last week.
on day two i looked outside and saw this in my neighbors yard.
of course i had to get a closer look.
two of the girls are in first grade and one is in kindergarten.
i asked if they were doing homework and they sad "yes" but that they didn't have too much to do
and it wasn't very hard.
this was one of the homework pages i saw and of course the artist in me believes
that this little one is immensely talented and will go places.
this is the little brother to one of the girls.
he wanted to do homework, too.
but did not want his picture taken. at all.
i caught him off guard here.
but then he quickly turned, scrunched up his nose and said "no pictures" again.
when the homework was finished, it was time to play.
