afternoon delight....

sorry mom
~
i can't help you
when it comes to changing the sheets on your bed
{remember, no thumbs}
but
i can keep your mattress pad warm while you're working
providing you leave me alone
~
so
please
don't take the death glare personally

Ah, I'm familiar with that stare. It's so manipulative, yet so incredibly adorable. I think you quoted her just right. ;)

Beth, I'm reading The Art of Racing in the Rain and the dog who narrates makes a point of the fact he doesn't have thumbs - he says dew claws are latent thumbs... What a cute pooch!

ha!!! that is what we say to the pugs all the time!!! "no thumbs" - generally that is answer to most any question we ask when we expect some help.

Keeping the mattress pad warm really is more important than making the bed. :)

Adorable! The eyes get me every time, our wee boy dog looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders while his sistr, bless her, usually looks either defiant or vacant!

Looks like our Rowdy... he supervises all goings on in teh house and in the yard. Thumbs or no thumbs... it's just what makes the boy happy... LOL

Rory loves to play, "Fort," as I call it, when I change the bed. He loves to burrow under the stuff that I've dropped on the floor. All you can see is an extra lump in the puddle of cloth. It's one of the only fun things about the task of remaking the bed!

now that's one precious picture. when i fold clothes my dog helps by laying on what's been folded. and he always lays on both beds. one BIG paddock for him. hope all is well. have a great day.

I was just trying to wrap up a journal (one of my giveaways this week) in brown paper... and guess who came to walk all over the crackly paper.... and plonk down on it.... Miss Kitty.

So this sweet pose seemed so timely.
