Nope... no flowers blooming here today. The daffys are already done for the year. BUT, I looked up and found some fabulous beauty overhead in the blossoms of the trees.
I have loads of color on my back yard. All the lovely yellow petals from my Banks Roses, blasted off the vine by 70 mph winds.
It looks like we held a wedding here and only the trails of petals remain lol. Now if only a wind would take them all away on their own so I don't have to get out the monster blower!
AW, here you penned this lovely post, and I'm only thinking about practicality...
So crazy, we are full into spring and actually kind of on to summer a little.. the blossoms are all done. We are not that far away! But we are pulling weeds and surrounded in wild flowers. Going to do a bunch of senior portraits next week. Wishing I was you to shoot them, but I will do my best! :)
I know spring is out there, I have gone looking too and seen small signs. Now it the liquid sunshine would just go away so the spring can shine in abundance.
Spring is here, a little later than what it said on the calendar, but it is here. We rode our bikes yesterday and I planted some flower seeds. Now if the birds will leave the seeds alone we will have a few flowers and maybe, just maybe, I will take a picture of them this summer. Fingers crossed.
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
