Oooh how wonderful! I often check out the SANParks webcamse (here: http://www.sanparks.org/webcams/) to see who's coming to the waterhole. Thansk for the new distraction! :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that an amazing creature. I hope to see the family (two young) of baldies which have been hanging out at the cottage again this summer.
ReplyDeleteAwww those babies are peeping right now.
We have this on our screens over to the side and when we are doing something else we have the eagles on wide screen. Amazing isn't it?
ReplyDeleteFunny. we took the kiddos for a walk saturday at picnic point...we saw a muskrat up close and personal and a bald eagle UP CLOSE in a tree eating a fish! (we also saw frogs, ducks....so on) but your post made me laugh!
ReplyDeletei've been watching it too...i love to see the changing of the guard and what about that baby hanging out on the edge for several hours on saturday!! yikes!
ReplyDeleteI heard a crow almost ate a chicklet--then the mama came back and black feathers FLEW!
ReplyDeleteWow, I had never seen something like this, so fascinating. Thank you for sharing :-)
ReplyDeleteI've been running a side screen for days now. It is so addicting and I too had to blog about it! I can't stop watching ... best reality show!

ReplyDeleteYou find the neatest stuff. Really, just the best. I still remember that time you photographed a dead bird's wings and shared it with us. Remember?
ReplyDeletei hadn't yet seen the babies...i just went over again and got to see them this time. how cool is that?
ReplyDeletei've been watching all week, i love how the babies seem to be playing/poking each other!
ReplyDeleteIt's the best!
ReplyDeleteI watched one of these last year, got all attached to the sweet baby girl in the nest (only one out of the two eggs hatched), watched her grow feathers and eat bigger prey....and then she unexpectedly died of a respiratory illness. I can't bear to watch again! As beautiful as they are.
