a bit brisk.....

it's been raining here and much cooler than what it should be.
they said this is the coldest spring we've had in the past 15 years. as puny as we've all been feeling around here because of the weather, i'm not sure it was necessary to tell us that.
~
how about telling us something along the lines
of how this cool weather is making all the mosquitos move south to breed and there won't be any left here to chew up our bodies come summer. now that's news.

today
i have
a u-haul to rent for my son
a package to mail
a trip to verizon so they can hopefully fix my phone that doesn't get emails anymore
a butt to kick at walgreens for a prescription screw-up
and
a jacket to buy for my daughter who's running her first race this weekend
~
happy hump day to you

that's a pretty important to-do list

make sure you put "you" on that list!

More mosquitoes! Noooooooo...........

It's hot and almost too humid here today. Can someone please invent a weather even-out-er?

ooh. prescription screw-ups! can be dangerous! yikes!

good luck on the errand running. i'd rather park my butt at home but i need to get out there sooner or later too - if nothing else, to gather food.

Like you said the good side of having a colder spring could be keeping pesky mosquitoes at bay, and I do remember you having the neatest sweater in town right ;-)
Have fun with your errands

I wish we could say the same for the weather
here! It's been HOT! And muggy and from
what I can tell, those mosquitoes have most
definitely made it South as they are already
knocking on our doors, ready to bite!

I sure as hell hope you are right about the mosquitos! Wouldn't that be sweet? Hope you got your errands done all without a hitch.

I was woken up too early with the sound of a chain saw and was like what the $%^&?. And then realize they were trying to clear my street from the massive oak in my neighbor's yard that had fallen from the severe storms that rolled through here. The good news is I was fast asleep with my 4 year old. The bad news is that I was fast asleep with my 4 year old and didn't hear the sirens. We've been dodging tornadoes all day. I'll be glad when hump day is over :)
