today i will be effusive....

now granted
that's a word i have never used before while writing or talking
but
it's how i've been described
and
it's how i want to be today
to make up for yesterday
~
ahhh yes
back to
today
~
there's a wine extravaganza today at world market. we're going.
~
there's a make and take your own stamped jewelry class today at the little shop that sells my post cards and greeting cards.
i'm going.
~
there's a furniture store that has chairs that we've been eyeing for awhile now.
we're going there, too.
~
i hope your weekend is filled with something or someone you're passionate about
which in turn
will make you
effusive
too

  5. Today, I am headed to "The Arts are Alive!" program that will feature some of my K's art. Some of her friends are coming over for a sleepover. We have choir rehearsal for the Easter program at church and tonight I have a bridal shower. And it's raining cats & dogs here, supposed to ALL day. Have a great weekend! Sounds like you'll be having fun.

I want to take a jewelry class too. Let me know how it goes, will ya?

  7. I have no plans other than trying to stay warm and dry from the severe thunderstorms that have been forecast for later today. Just hanging out, avoiding cleaning. I dislike that about myself. Just saying.

  21. I had an absolutely wonderful weekend in every way. Didn't get time to be creative, but I shopped, did photography (OK, a little creative), cooked, celebrated with friends and enjoyed an honest to goodness date night with Rick -- at the book store, which couldn't have been better. Looks like you did, too!

  23. Well, my weekend has come and gone and I had a wonderful Saturday with an Indian friend visiting. He now lives in Texas, works for a fine dining restaurant and was out with his girlfriend to stay at the guest house at Ravenna Winery ( one of the perks when you work at Masraff's ). I did my blog about our Saturday activities. It is always a joy seeing old friends.
