if i had to choose....

if someone told me today
that i had to narrow down my photo shoots
to only one age group
i think i would have to choose seniors
~~
as much as i love babies
and
the innocence of silliness that comes from toddlers
there's just something that melts my heart
when a senior steps in front of me
*
if you have time
~and i really hope you do~
there's more of this beautiful girl over at ruby luna
and
she's just as gorgeous in black and white as she is in color

  2. When you said seniors I thought you meant old folks like me. Not so. You meant the young folks finishing high school and looking forward to what they discover in their lives. I wish them happiness and I hope you have the opportunity to photograph many more seniors.

I hear you--all babies kind of look the same--those seniors are a diverse and wonderful group on the cusp of greatness!

I think it is a bit of a niche for you! Would love to have you take some photos of me someday, even though I'm a big past the senior age. :)

  13. I can see why...seniors are at the brink of becoming themselves. They are open and love to explore. And that is just damn fun to photograph! :) Wonderful shots Beth!

  20. Since I teach high school I immediately assumed that age group. I do enjoy looking at all the senior pictures; I'm just always a bit relieved that I don't have to deal with the "senior angst"--juniors haven't yet reached that hightened level of anxiety.
Lovely pictures. Her eyes show that she's a beauty inside and out.
