You are so lucky winning that necklace!...The only reason that I haven't bought one yet is because I can't decide which one of the three that I want...:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the Creativity Boot Camp too...I've been needing some kind of photo taking motivation beyond flowers in the yard...I'm going to try to find time to do this!
What fun the boot camp would be...but, as I am taking a two day getaway with a dear friend - to two lovely hostels on the Pacific coast near here, I am not participating! I'm just going to be having fun. Will catching up on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteMy mother once told me well wait till you have a duaghter who turns 40 - then you'll feel old. :) You are just a youngster. Sounds like a great day so far - love that necklace and can't wait to see your newfound creativity spill over to these pages, although in truth, they don't need it. Have fun!!!!

You are such a creative person. I think some of us were born with it and the rest of us struggle to learn creative things. Smile.
ReplyDeleteIt started bright but endid with rain. And I was suppose to follow the photographers class this afternoon and evening...now it's posponed. Darn... Oh well there will be a next date.
ReplyDeleteHappy sunday.
graduation from college party??
ReplyDeleteDamn, you are old!
Just kidding.
Each year will just give you more time for that creative side of you to grow, enjoy the milestone.
And, just keep hanging out with young people and have them jump for your photos...you'll always be young.
makes me want to go buy some chalk and get my fingers all stained with the colors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy about your daughter's graduation from college, and you are definitely NOT old. At one of my public readings last year I mentioned the fact that now that I'm middle aged my writing concerns have changed. After the reading, one of my friends came up to me and said, "You are NOT middle aged!" She wasn't kidding around either. She was actually a little bit mad at me. I said, "I am though. I'm 42. If I'm lucky, that's somewhere around the middle!!" She freaked out and insisted that as long as I don't feel or act middle aged, then I'm not. For months after that, every time I saw her or when she sent me an email, she'd say/write, "NMA" to remind me. I loved her for that.
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration, Beth. Thanks, my friend. xoxo Gigi
This is a beautiful blog and your photos are stunning..your words are elegant and thought-provoking!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, I am now a follower.
Congratulations on your daughter's college graduation, Beth! I'm leaving for one of those parties in about a half hour, then on to graduation at our school where I'm the photographer.
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm thinking of it, I'll take the camera chip out of the computer lest I forget!
xo
Beth you are so talented! I am especially fond of the pastels too...
ReplyDeletea warm & charming art shot!
want to pick them right up and create. Wishing you the best.
Caroline
Wowie - lots of good stuff happening here, lovely One ! I just checked out the Boot Camp class. Can I don it ? You know what, just this morning I had a battle with myself about how I never seem to finish things, how I start them with full on energy and then tweetle out somewhere in the middle. Maybe a two week boot camp is just what I need - doable in the next two weeks in fact !
ReplyDeleteI think I will see you there.
Love to you creative one and congrats on the daughter graduation ! Nice job, Momma !

my son just graduated from college, although he opted out of a party, imagine that? but yes, i feel a little old myself, except that on the inside I feel like i haven't even graduated from college yet...time playing tricks again...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning that cool necklace. The birds remind me of one of your pictures not long ago.
ReplyDeleteThose amazing steps our children take do seem to mark the fact that we also are growing older.
Sounds like you have lots of happy and fun things going on Beth! Lucky you and congrats on the giveaway win.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week.
