not as easy as it looks.....

oh
the dragonfly
~
it flits
it flies
it's faster than a speeding bullet
~well kind of~
~
but
if you make like a tree
down by the water's edge
and
use your zoom lens
you just might be able to catch one
~
and
if you do
it will kind of take your breath away

It just goes to show some photographers have the skill to capture a really quick moving dragon fly. Nice photos.

Outstanding! it is NOT easy at all...I was able to get a side angle view of one without falling into the river...however I need LOTS more practice and experience to even come close to capturing such an amazing shot!

Yes, they always take my breath away. I love to stand still when I am watering my garden and watch the play in the mist. Beautiful. And you are amazing.

Beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen a black and white dragonfly before. Maybe we don't have them in Florida. So glad you had the patience to capture this shot!

Geezzz Beth. this one is a beauty. never ever did i see a black and white spotted one like this. Gorgious. Oh and I do know it's not easy, you keep hopping back and forth sneeking up on them :-))) but it sure is fun to try.
