if someone told me today
that i had to narrow down my photo shoots
to only one age group
i think i would have to choose seniors
~~
as much as i love babies
and
the innocence of silliness that comes from toddlers
there's just something that melts my heart
when a senior steps in front of me
*
if you have time
~and i really hope you do~
there's more of this beautiful girl over at ruby luna
and
she's just as gorgeous in black and white as she is in color
*
beautiful pictures! I must say you capture it real well!
ReplyDeleteWhen you said seniors I thought you meant old folks like me. Not so. You meant the young folks finishing high school and looking forward to what they discover in their lives. I wish them happiness and I hope you have the opportunity to photograph many more seniors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty girl! Great photos and love love sophie and the cool shots in your previous post.

Beth ,
ReplyDeleteyou inspire so much.
and these are out of this world. She is breathtaking.
I hear you--all babies kind of look the same--those seniors are a diverse and wonderful group on the cusp of greatness!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Beth!
ReplyDeleteI think it is a bit of a niche for you! Would love to have you take some photos of me someday, even though I'm a big past the senior age. :)
Beautiful! (Ditto the B&W)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Beth! And I love the b&w's too over at the other blog.
ReplyDeleteI thought you meant seniors as in old people.....which I think by the way are such beautiful people.
ReplyDeleteThis lovely lady is beautiful and I love knowing she has so much of life to learn and experience ahead of her. God Bless you Beth...Hugs
I can see why...seniors are at the brink of becoming themselves. They are open and love to explore. And that is just damn fun to photograph! :) Wonderful shots Beth!
ReplyDeleteYou bring out the best in whatever you photograph ...
ReplyDeleteShe sure is a beauty but like TechnoBabe, I was expecting the character that comes with wrinkles and gray hair. ;)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, just gorgeous. You are so so good.
ReplyDeleteyou have a special heart BEth!!
ReplyDeleteYes, your first senior pictures are beautiful and such a beautiful subject. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteyou've given her some nice photographic memories to cherish for a lifetime. these are great. i'm sure she was pleased.
ReplyDeletealso, sophie is adorable. good luck getting her to cooperate though.
have a great night.
Since I teach high school I immediately assumed that age group. I do enjoy looking at all the senior pictures; I'm just always a bit relieved that I don't have to deal with the "senior angst"--juniors haven't yet reached that hightened level of anxiety.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. Her eyes show that she's a beauty inside and out.
Beth they are beautiful, I like all your photos and I love how you bring so much life to them. always in awe.
ReplyDeleteYes, I also thought you meant oldies like me, and I was going to offer to sit for you! Lol. But hey, another beautiful photo. She is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAnd gorgeous she is too!!
ReplyDeleteHugs
SueAnn
she is gorgeous. And, I think the silliness of teenagers matches the silliness of toddlers. Definitely.
ReplyDeleteYou have such an eye for this Beth.
ReplyDeleteI'll hop over to ruby luna soon.
