as we were walking in the woods this weekend

this mushroom called my name

  7. I came across a RED topped mushroom on my dog-walk through the woods yesterday, and I CURSED the fact that I did not have my camera. It's a curse sometimes, this picture taking infatuation. Well, it's not an infatuation, I guess it's true love :-)

  10. Mushrooms tend to capture the attention of my camera's lens too. We have mushrooms the size of dinner plates growing out the side of a tree in our back yard this year... crazy looking.

  34. This must be the one you were talking about when you visited my mushroomy post! I was just the same....so close to the edge, but luckily, I didn't fall in either. But, I was standing in some serious mud....falling into that would have been worse!!
    That mushroom is amazing! So huge, yet it looks so graceful the way it is situated.
