you were expecting a pumpkin photo perhaps.....

or
something scary
or
me in a costume
~
sorry
~
all i have is this
adorable squirrel
that i felt so sorry for as i watched him try to remove a burr stuck in his tail
but
then he gave up
and
smiled for me instead
~seriously, do you see that smile~
~
anyhow
i would like to think
though
that if i was going to go all out and wear a costume this year
that i'd be as cute as this little guy
*
BOO
happy halloween
and
remember
don't eat the funny looking candy

He is totally smiling at you. Love this photo and hope he got the burr out of his britches, er, I mean tail.

He looks like he's having a belly laugh; holding his belly and smiling. Perhaps he thought you looked hilarious. The 'one eyed human' sneaking up on him.

He's adorable. And of course he's smiling.

I once witnessed a poor squirrel with numerous burrs stuck to its tail and belly. It couldn't jump from one tree limb to another to save its life. Each time it would leap, its tail would get stuck on the bark and he'd fall back. I watched the poor thing, unable to help. It was both pathetic and hilarious at the same time. I have no idea what became of him. I hope he eventually worked it out.

What I like more than the smile, is how he did a hand clasp on his chest! That is the most adorable part of this picture for me.

Happy New Year, Bethy...thank you for sharing your beauty with us. It makes a difference to so many of us.
