I came across a RED topped mushroom on my dog-walk through the woods yesterday, and I CURSED the fact that I did not have my camera. It's a curse sometimes, this picture taking infatuation. Well, it's not an infatuation, I guess it's true love :-)
Mushrooms tend to capture the attention of my camera's lens too. We have mushrooms the size of dinner plates growing out the side of a tree in our back yard this year... crazy looking.
You were willing to sacrifice your safety to get the photo.....job well done, Beth. Nice to see you in the photos. We don't get to see enough of your pretty face. Not that we can see your face in these pictures, but you know what I mean. lol
This must be the one you were talking about when you visited my mushroomy post! I was just the same....so close to the edge, but luckily, I didn't fall in either. But, I was standing in some serious mud....falling into that would have been worse!! That mushroom is amazing! So huge, yet it looks so graceful the way it is situated.
