and i'm fine with haunted....

last weekend
after shopping in a vintage furniture store downtown and then driving through an area we weren't familiar with
we found this
perfectly amazing old
house
~
it was hiding quietly behind some very overgrown shrubs and trees and in order to get this photo i had to get out of the car and walk up the driveway.
personally i think it's a bit haunted. probably only one ghost. maybe two at the most.
~
and
seriously
if there had a "for sale" sign in the front yard
we'd be signing a contract with a realtor today

make the owners an offer anyway :)

what a magnificent find, that house. If you're serious... contact a local realtor and ask them to find out more about the house. Sometimes the family or occupant is in a frame of mind to sell.

Talk about opening new doors, right? Imagine!

Great house. It looks as though it belongs in a scary movie.

I may just beat you to bidding on it when it comes up for sale! LOL

Oh, me too... I'm with Deb. Make them an offer anyway. I'm sure the ghost would be friendly...

You sure have the knack of finding perfect things - and people - to photograph!

I do think I see something in the window of that upstairs tower window looking down at you...sending out vibes of creepyness.

Reminds me of the houses we used to declare 'haunted' when we were kids. Somehow - as an adult - these houses have a more stately feel than a haunted one. Happy Halloween!!!
