left of center....

there aren't many days where i feel completely centered. usually i'm a bit off.
i blame it on sleepless nights. or my digestion issues. or the medication i'm on.
or
even
the change in the weather
~
today
i'm not blaming anything
~
instead
i'm embracing it
by sharing photos with you from my walk around the pond
where
on purpose
i put the focal point of my camera on the left
and
shot away
~
maybe
it's just my way of saying
"change your perspective"
or
maybe
it's just my way of saying
"being off center isn't always an awful way to be"

Sometimes, we just need to embrace exactly where we are, even left of center. I am enjoying your off-centeredness today in your photos...

Good for you Beth, most impressed by the post and the photographs. It is so important at times that we just change the way we look at things.

Beautiful!
Off centre is good - and I love the psychology behind it ;)

I was born left of center. I've always embraced it. Love the walnut shot!

I'm definitely off center this week. I've been letting it get to me. Thanks for reminding me to change my perspective. :)

And I don't usually do this, but something you said in your post stood out to me. I'm kinda sorta new to the blogging world, and I don't have much to offer, but if you wanted to check out my blog:

Being off course can refresh us if we allow ourselves to relax and just be.

I like the photos and your words today.

I feel very off-centered when things are Centered!!! ?hmmm?

I like it off.....nothing is really centered anyway- is it?

Love your photos as always:)

Who wants to be dead center anyway? I think anyone interesting is slightly off at any given moment.. it's where creativity lives :-)

Being off center seems to show things to me that I would otherwise miss so it is not such a bad thing.

Love left of center shots. But I'm not too fond of feeling off-center; hope your centeredness returns quickly.

Thanks!!! For the reminder that it is OK to be off center. Sometimes it is indeed difficult to focus on what's right in front of us.

Being off center can bring a new perspective in life if you but embrace it. And do not fear it!
Be well Beth

I just came from a blog that had essentially the same theme, but without the positive vibe. Thank you for encouraging off-centeredness!

I don't think I've ever been really on center. It took me a long time to embrace it as a gift, mine. That is the artist in me who see things differently from the real world. You are doing great and you are very talented.

I'm loving all these posts (especially that adorable little girl) but find the left of center concept just too cool not to comment on. I'm a little left these days, too. And sometimes that's an interesting viewpoint!

It strikes me that off center is just right. Especially when you have that kind of focus.

The colouring of the leaf in the first picture is absolutely gorgeous.

I love left of center....or even right of center.
And I love how you turn these pictures into your human experience of things. I love how you do that.
