i want to know....

it's raining here today
and
the color of grey is everywhere
~
it's the kind of day that makes staying in your pajamas justified
~
i mean really, if the only thing you're going to do is sit and watch the football game and eat sandwiches with too much mustard, does it really matter what you're wearing. i think not.
~
do you want to read my favorite poem
~
i hope you do. it's quite perfect for a rainy grey day.
well
any day really, but especially today.

happy weekend

truth be told, i spend several days a week in my jammies, after i shower i just put a clean pair on if i am home and working, today was one of those days, making jewelry on my pajamas, watching harry potter movies, baseball and football on in the background.
the poem is beautiful.

Love your poem! The following poem was chosen as poem of the century. They read it to us at the children's school - it was the first time I heard it. Sad, but beautiful...

WHEN I DIE:

When I die tomorrow
tell to the trees
how much I loved you.
Tell it to the wind
who climbs in the trees
and falls out the leaves,
how much I loved you

Tell it to a child
that's still young enough to understand.
Tell it to an animal,
maybe just by looking in it's eyes.
Tell it to the houses of stone,
tell it to the city,
how much I loved you.

But don't tell it to a human being
He wouldn't believe you.
He wouldn't want to believe that
only a man only a woman,
that a human loved another human
like I loved you

My 21-yr-old son just ran to the corner drugstore in his jammie pants, so, hey...anything goes today.

I love rainy days... :happy sigh:

And you're right. There's something wonderfully lazy about them. It makes indoors seem so cozy.

Ooooh, that is what love is really all about, yes?

Your images are making me gasp this morning. It is grey outside here today, so you are my sunshine. :)
