it's the simple things that make me smile the most...

peeling paint on an old brick wall
~
pillow wrinkles on my face from a sound sleep
~
making the choice to be happy
~
being out of breath from excitement
~
taking photos of strangers
~
fall leaves that want to stay
~
a slow walk in our prairie
~
a smile created with only your eyes
~
finding a heart shaped rock
~
talking to my best friend
~
seeing nature's beauty on a grey day
~
seeing my hubby light up when he sees me

this is just a tiny dent on my
"simple things list"
organized by
the fabulous
~
please take the time
~you'll need lots of it~
to read all the posts from all the bloggers
who love christina
~so much~
and
are sharing their simple things
with all of you

  1. Beth, you are so right about the simple things being the best. Not so sure about the pillow wrinkles on the face though. At my age, those wrinkles tend to stay:)

  31. "Seeing my hubby light up when he sees me." That must be the secret of your 24 years of successful marriage. I just written something about marriage today. And this just resonates with my thoughts.

  36. The simple things, yes. What a wonderful list of some truly heartfelt items. I'm always looking for heart rocks..and I'm always finding them. One time I found a few and put them in a brown paper bag. Weeks later I opened the bag and found them again! I had completely forgotten them. You are so right they do make one smile. :) Thanks!
