she was discharged

without the aid of the wheel chair that the nurse kept asking her about
she slowly
walked beside me out of the hospital and all the way to the parking garage

OMG...released after 10.5 hours and no wheelchair? Glad to know all is well. Now get some sleep ;)
So good to hear that your daughter is doing well. I'm glad she got to go home afterwords. Back when I had my appendix removed I had to stay in the hospital for a week. I would have rested much better at home as I'm sure your daughter will now. Here's hoping your weekend is a great one.

Glad to hear she is doing so well! I had mine out when I was 11 and it was a week stay in the hospital. Amazing how they do things today! Hope she is well on her way to recovery :)
