Wish I didn't have to agree with you, but alas, a chill is indeed in the air. Great shot regardless and sunny days now have a goldenness to them that only happens this time of year, we renew our perspective yet again!
These colors give me peace rigt this moment Beth. How do you get your pics so large on your blog. Whenever I try that, only half will show??? Thanks for letting me see long shadows, whites and greens. My favorite colors of all.

It is easy to look up instead of down at the shadow...the visions of fall colors against the blue, blue sky remind me of who I am.
So in love with the world today. And kind of in love with me in it too !;)

Up, down, all around. I like the way the light plays with us in every season, though when it plays hide and seek, it gets me a little annoyed.
in fall and winter, the sky (if it's not cloudy) is the most amazing crisp blue - I fall in love with it and the chill in the air.

The sun still shines gently on the branches, at least for a little while. Enjoy it before it disappears for winter.
