Hi Beth, gosh, I'm always afraid to ask. But you made me think...maybe I could do this too.

About your question of our fall...oh my it takes on forever. We never have good and I mean real good winters. Used to when I was little but things have changed. So some days it's like fall takes all the way up to spring (only without the sweet colors of the leaves turning into gold).

Happy start of the week and tanks for believing in us by putting out the words : Never be afraid to ask.

OMG! I love the little guy in the middle!!

So cool....

I had a thought the other day that when I'm uber-rich (which won't be too long, I"m sure) I'm going to fly you up here to the wilds of the North and have you become our official family photographer.

My family bemoans the fact that their pictures of us are out of date...but Sebastian simply doesn't 'do' studio photography..neither do I, for that matter....

I always wonder who some people get so high off the ground and wonder how high I could jump in a shot like this.

The little one still with feet planted on the ground is so cute. This makes the photo so brilliant.

What a delightful picture. They look to be having so much fun. I find it very easy to ask people for their picture and use of on my blog. It's the only way to know how they feel about something like this. Hope all is well. Have a great day.

The little man who went a seperate way? Yeah, there's a future CEO!

Beth, my dear, that last line of yours? Spirit used you today. I have struggled with that last bit my entire life and I've let my efforts slide again. Thank you for being Spirit's voice to me today.

Beth ... you radiate such fun that I would imagine 99.9% of folks would want to "play" with you any day! Looks like you had the same lucky gorgeous weather ... perfect choice to spend your day in a park!

Fabulous!
What a fun family.
You are so right - what can it hurt to ask?

I am always afraid to ask, too! So, thanks for giving me some good motivation, because these folks look great!

The little guy is just too cute, and reminds me of my son at his preschool graduation eons age. I just may have to dig that out.
I'm glad your daughter is okay...a scary thing for a parent to see their child in a hospital gown.
I have to ask...did you enter a contest at a scrapbook magazine site for "motion photos"? I saw an entry by a Beth, of a jumping photo of her son & friends celebrating a grad. I could swear I saw it before........

I have the sudden urge to go out in a crowd and start asking people for a picture...
Too bad I don't have the courage to do it. Wish I did though!

While lost in (cyber) space last night I discovered your blog. I spent several hours exploring, admiring and being inspired by your work. I too am a long time "vintage junque" lover and the photos from the flea market made my heart palpatate !!! Would you mind sharing where it is located ? I am in Northern IL and always up for a new adventure = )

Oh this is inspiring. I am such a chicken when it comes to asking people. What's the worst that could happen, right?

Thank you
