do you remember when I did this pregnancy shoot
?
and
then this newborn shoot
when griffin was just a few weeks old
well look at this little man now
don't you just want to eat him up
?
~~
girffin is now 7 months old
and
what his parents wanted to document was his 6 month birthday
but
due to mother nature being quite unreliable
and
my dislike to taking indoor photos
our shoot was finally yesterday
and
it felt so good
~~
but did you know
babies are fast in everything
?
smiling
laughing
eye blinking
hand moving
body slumping
and
tipping over
~~
I think I might need a nap today
so lovely! i'll have to search back in your archives for when you posted about the pregnancy and newborn shoots...they look so beautiful, i'd love to see more!
ReplyDeleteand how cute is he! they do grow so fast and take a lot to keep up with don't they!!!
What a beautiful baby boy and what great work by the talented photographer. :)

What a beautiful little boy and they do grow so fast...inside or outside, take so many pictures as possible.
ReplyDeleteNap? Love the idea...love your work. This is lovely.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful tribute to a son...2nd blogger in a row...is it tribute to children week?
ReplyDeleteawwwww. i want one... sigh. seems like it was forever ago already... the best part about a nap when you have a newborn is when they take a nap right there beside you, ahhh, i miss those days, well...the napping part, and all the other sweet parts, the diapers and crying and all that stuff in between... not so much. :)
ReplyDeletehope all is well dear one.
xo
What a sweet energetic looking little boy. But then I guess most boys are energetic. I know my young grandson is! He's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
What a sweet little soul! You captured his energies just right, Beth! Congrats on a job well done, and I bet his parents just love these pics!

So the little guy kept your busy Beth. Good for him. And good for you to because again you capture it. Thanks for your sweet words on my latest post.
ReplyDeletewhat an adorable little cutie he is. great shoot!
ReplyDeleteBeth,I could so connect with your post today. I'm sorry I missed the pregnancy shoot and the newborn shoot (thank goodness they can be retrieved to enjoy). Catching the shots you did for his "6 mos." birthday are wonderful and I do know that they did not come about easily. You obviously made him feel at ease to capture those expressions that are so relaxed and in the moment. I had to smile at the suggestion that a nap was in order. Don't I know it?!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments at Simon Says. Yes, Simon has Oh The Places You'll Go in his library ... who doesn't love that book? or babies' feet? those expressions of sheer unabashed joy? Yes, I'm in love ... and I've waited a long eight years for this new man in my life.
All beautiful captures. They sure grow up fast.
ReplyDeleteWhat an angel.
ReplyDeletei missed the previous shoots but i am so glad that i could share in this one. he is too cute!
ReplyDeletei love his name.
i am loving the journal of the birth of this beautiful life...inside and out!1 ~ he he ~
ReplyDeleteWatching my niece's baby a few months ago I realized that their faces are ALWAYS moving, their emotions transparently broadcast - so fearless. I wish I had taken some mini-videos of my kids just to see that play of feeling, but I didn't have the (then) expensive equipment. You've done well capturing the movement and energy of your little one in these photos.
ReplyDeleteWorn out, are ya? I remember those days.
ReplyDeletethat pregnancy photo is stunning!! (I don't like taking indoor photos either-natural light is soooo much better).
ReplyDeleteI responded to your request with instructions in the comments section on my blog-thanks for wanting to wear my badge!!
Hi Beth,
ReplyDeleteYou forgot to mention "biting anything/everything in sight" whether it's an apple or the chair arm! Lovely shots.
I do remember! He's adorable!
ReplyDeleteI've said it before, you just keep getting better.
