last week
and
I could hear them
whispering
"take us home with you please"
"we promise to be good"
and
since I'm a sucker for anything good
I said
"alright, come on, let's go"
~~~~~
and
much to my surprise
they were better than good
~~
they were
wonderful
I can't see a sunflower without thinking of my niece, Laura, Livvy's mom, as these are her very favorite flowers. This is too cute!
Happy Easter!
oh! . . . GORGEOUS shots, by the way.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Van Gogh would approve!
ReplyDeleteHere they grow wild along the roads in August. I love picking BUNCHES of them to sit outside on the picnic table (they drop too much pollen indoors).
gorgeous!!! and I'm glad they were on their best behavior
ReplyDeleteThey make me smile.... Happy Easter, Beth!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower, They to make me smile and they seem to grow more everyday. Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteNice misty, dreamy filter effects. It makes me happy to know the fun you have with your camera!
ReplyDeleteThey ARE wonderful. I had some lilies jump in my cart yesterday. I'm going to plant them this afternoon.
ReplyDeletegood listen beth ~flowers talk to me too
ReplyDeleteAmazing how those TJ flowers seem to know how to get from the bin to the cart with nary a glance back (unless it's the agonizing decision of which to allow to leap!)
ReplyDeleteSo, they kept their word...
ReplyDeleteGood to know, next time I am at TJ's I will be sure to offer up my kitchen table as a new place to bloom for awhile!!
