they jumped in my cart while I was shopping at trader joeslast week

I could hear them
whispering
"take us home with you please"
"we promise to be good"
and
since I'm a sucker for anything good
I said
"alright, come on, let's go"

Here they grow wild along the roads in August. I love picking BUNCHES of them to sit outside on the picnic table (they drop too much pollen indoors).

Amazing how those TJ flowers seem to know how to get from the bin to the cart with nary a glance back (unless it's the agonizing decision of which to allow to leap!)
So, they kept their word...
Good to know, next time I am at TJ's I will be sure to offer up my kitchen table as a new place to bloom for awhile!!
