the sign on the rusty gate said "no trespassing" so i climbed over it. the sign on the tree said "keep out" which i did. this time. only because there wasn't a sign saying "there are mosquitos the size of lap dogs surrounding this property and they will take you down"

guess where i'm going in a few weeks
once i've confirmed that the lap dog sized mosquitos have been muzzled
and
put away for the year

there are two places on the way to where I often drive..

Oh, oh, oh - take me! I love old buildings and this one seems enticing. I always love imagining what they once were and what they could be with lots of money poured into them. This is a beauty and I can't wait till you visit again. There is a place in Kansas I always wanted to explore. Each time I have seen it, more has fallen to the ground now. It is so sad to see these beauties dissolve into the ground.

ReplyDeleteAround here, we have old dump sites from homesteads. My favorite thing to do is find an old cabin, great dumpsite, and just spend a day digging for old time treasure.
Watch the ground and the corners, you could find some fascinating things!
