if only they could speak...

"I know you're totally smitten with your camera
and
that you love coming here to our pond
and
that you can't find any people
to photograph
and
that the turtles are being shy
but guess what
?
I'm just not in the mood today"

  1. Ok, I just got home from seeing Mark Morris Dance Company in Seattle and it's an hour's drive home, so that's my excuse for why I'm reading new posts and making comments. But it's even later where you are! Why are you posting instead of snuggling under the covers with your wonderful hubby? If I had someone to cuddle up with, I wouldn't be typing for sure.

You know, I feel your frustration about having people to photograph. I wish that I had more. I've often been tempted to ask strangers when I come across an interesting view of them, but I'm toooo shy!

  3. I went to a party last night, and I was asked to take photos of the night (I don't know why they asked me either) but NOBODY would let me take their picture! I felt terrible, imposing and in the end, anyone I went near, ran! (Might have been my hair) So in the end I got three pictures of a birthday cake and four of peoples hands or heads! Great! So when I read our post it made me giggle! Thanks!

  6. *giggle* You have to love a duck with a made up mind! And, the duck may not have been in the mood to cooperate, but I hope you know you put me in a great mood this gray morning! I love coming for my visit!

  12. awww...don't you just love ducks and their waddling ways? I especially love the one lone duck that speaks up louder than all the others, quacking like he's got a problem with the entire pond!
