no more pink or orange or even a little green.....

if somebody told me
that my favorite
"i wear these to see the world in color"
glasses
had been stepped on and broken into tiny pieces
and
that in a panic
i proved to be terribly under qualified
to fix them with duct tape and super glue
and
then they said
~just to rub salt in my already painful wound~
"from now on everything you see will only be in black and white"
~~
well
i decided
that might not be so bad

well
at least until saturday
or so

  6. Brought a smile to my face as I started my 365 project determined to do all black and white. I think I only made it to week 2. *sigh*

  7. Many portraits I think are much better in B&W...it takes away distractions and really highlights features and skin tones...the portrait is beautiful
B&W in the dandelion pic really highlights texture...Supurb photos Beth!...Have fun:)

  8. I am fondly partial to black and white. The dandelion looks great in black and white and I love the softness of it that you captured.

  9. If duct tape & super glue won't fix it, then it is meant to be. Your photos show this to be true - I sneezed when that 2nd image appeared on screen. :)

  16. Black and white is good sometimes...but eventually we need a little color. But right now I am with you...black and white is suiting me quite well.

  17. I'm a big fan of black and white -- doesn't always work for everything, but sometimes it really centers your eye. Really makes you focus by removing the distraction...
