Ok, I just got home from seeing Mark Morris Dance Company in Seattle and it's an hour's drive home, so that's my excuse for why I'm reading new posts and making comments. But it's even later where you are! Why are you posting instead of snuggling under the covers with your wonderful hubby? If I had someone to cuddle up with, I wouldn't be typing for sure.
You know, I feel your frustration about having people to photograph. I wish that I had more. I've often been tempted to ask strangers when I come across an interesting view of them, but I'm toooo shy!
I went to a party last night, and I was asked to take photos of the night (I don't know why they asked me either) but NOBODY would let me take their picture! I felt terrible, imposing and in the end, anyone I went near, ran! (Might have been my hair) So in the end I got three pictures of a birthday cake and four of peoples hands or heads! Great! So when I read our post it made me giggle! Thanks!
you keep me smiling beth. you really do. i could not get you out of my mind yesterday. i discovered and old house and i knew that you would have been there right alongside me discovering and exploring.
*giggle* You have to love a duck with a made up mind! And, the duck may not have been in the mood to cooperate, but I hope you know you put me in a great mood this gray morning! I love coming for my visit!
beautiful mrs. shy. and it's ok - there are those quiet days.
your pictures are beautiful...
There are just days like that, Lady Duck. I get them too sometimes. You could always do some more self-portraits. big ;-)Happy Sunday hiding out !
Sweet image..and love the accompanyin commentary.
juicyshybut juicynone-the-less...xox - eb.
awww...don't you just love ducks and their waddling ways? I especially love the one lone duck that speaks up louder than all the others, quacking like he's got a problem with the entire pond!
ithink this duck secretly liked you talking it's photo:) kt
Sometimes I think ducks make better models then people ;-)
I'm tellin ya, Cheeze-Its can change the mind of ALL obstinate or pouty fowl!
Maybe not in the mood, but you still got the last shot!
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
