I did the same thing just last week.
You're right the animals really love people's attention.
Looks like a fun day was had by all and some great photos too!
I think your hubby is in the first "real" black and white photo - taking a picture of you. I, too, love animals, the outdoors, farms, especially the smells. I am not at all offended by the *ahem* natural smells of the barnyard, in fact I find myself invigorated by it. It awakens a part of my spirit that wants to get up with the roosters and go to bed with the sun. Lovely shots, they make me crave going for a walk in the woods which, in fact, I am going to do and brave the blackflies rain or shine.
what a fun series of photos ... I love living "rural" ...
I just love the photos here.
Great shots and shows the farm all right.
I am a farm girl and have been a while.
No life like it.
Loved your blog !!!!!!
Love, love, love the animal photos. Glad you could be a farm girl today!
Hope you enjoy your weekend as well.

I am enjoying indeed -- and it certainly looks like you are enjoying, too! Those goats and sheep have such precious faces.
love that shot of the goat's hair wound around the wires. looks like a fun day...
what a wonderful way to spend time off with your sweetie and friends!
Wonderful way to spend time with your husband!
Oh my these may just be my favorite pictures you've taken! Love how they are presented as diptychs...perfect! Love that sweet face staring right at me...and those rumps:) ...and yes I do see your sweet husband too:)
I love farms, too, although I never lived on one, just visited my grandparents. Great shots and what a wonderful outing (and how sweet he went with you!)
this is a fun collage of your trip to the farm ..looks green and open ...I see the Mr. in the black and white...?
dearest Beth,
it is me kt40(kt)it has taken me a while to get back online, but your blog is one of my first stops. I wanted to thank you for the "day by day" bracelette and the beautiful notecard you sent to sperlygirl then she sent it off to me. The bracelette does not leave my arm and the notecard is hanging near the bathroom mirror so i can see it each day. I am working on a new blog and hopefully by this summer it will be up and running. much love to you!!

Lovely shots. How good to have a photography group. Charmaine
I am drooling over your pics and the place chosen to visit! I thought of you as I snapped shots out of the car window of barns and animals and green rolling hills... its was very Wisconsin-esque :)
Beautiful post Beth, thanks for reminding me of the farm where I grew up. It is a day where I really needed it. hugs to you.

I love your farm girl pictures. The two goats' butts really made me smile. I guess I'm weird that way.
So very glad I found such a blessing when I came across your blog.
You have such a sweetness about you... your photography and writing reflects it.
