and then the wind softly blew...

this weekend
i hope the sun illuminates your dancing soul
while
the sound of laughter keeps you awake
and
that you find
there is nothing
that can stand
between
you and your dreams
*
but
if your
weekend
turns out to be cloud filled and cold
while
silence holds you tenderly
and
something does stand in your way
remember you can always
go sideways
::
at least you'll be moving

LOL I've been cleaning all morning as a way of avoiding the fact it's wet and dreary, I'll consider that going sideways :-)

Beautiful thought! Thanks! I think I'll think about the falling snow I woke up to as being a sideways step and not one backwards :)

thanks beth for reminding me i can go sideways, the teens in the house today were making me fly through the roof but i think going sideways is a better choice.

Its turning out to be cloud filled and cold, and that gentle breezed is a northern bluster....but hey, nicer days will come. I love the texturing you did in that photo.

I wish it was the sound of laughter that was keeping me awake last night! I have no idea what it was but I'm draggin' today.

Strangely, that is what my weekend was all about...taking a giant (and kind of scary) leap and following my dream. Hmm...your words must have reached the soul part of me through the air waves.

I love that...going sideways. As long as you are moving.

I just found your blog through Kim at Queen of Arts. I was trying not to get attached because I already can't keep up with the blogs I'm following. I was just peeking, just looking quickly. But I got lost, and just kept clicking, your photos are astounding, your voice clear and beautiful. I was just enjoying my scrolling until I got to this photo and heard myself say "Oh!" out loud and sigh. Stopped in my tracks. WOW! This knocked me out and floated me around the room.
Wow wow wow!!!
