due to our cold and snowy weather keeping me indoors, some of my photos that i'll be sharing here this month, could be old. {as in "shortly before our blizzard"} i'm sorry.
on a happier note, i'm going to do what i said i would do in regards to sharing my photography tips and ideas with all of you {but not until february}and now this is where i need YOU. please, please, please send me any and all of the questions you have regarding anything photography related. i don't care what the question is, well as long as it's related somehow to photography, or how many questions you send me...i just want to know what YOU want to know. it's that simple.
i'll put all of your questions together and answer as many as i can, all while sharing some of the things i've learned over the past five years. the path to learning anything and everything photography related never ends and if we share what we know and what we've learned, well then we all end up together on that path, side by side.

ReplyDeleteI know you love apature priority, why? Do you ever choose shutter priority for things other than motioin issues.
Do you have 'go to' settings and how did they come about?

Your photo reminds me of a walk we once took in the woods on Mt. Hood. Now if my photo would have been so lovely.

How do you achieve the particular "look" your photos have without them being black/white, yet soft and peaceful? {Does that make any sense?}

ReplyDelete1. Do you have any idea what I need to do to capture action volleyball shots? I have a Canon T3. The action usually takes place in big gyms. I can get pretty close though. (Well, kind of....)
2. What software is best for editing photos to achieve the low saturation look?
I'll probably have more questions when this headache goes away.
I don't have any questions b/c I'll never do more than just snapping shots of my kid :) just keep shooting and posting and I'll be happy.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and all your photography. I am currently a point and shoot girl, but deep down have a yearning to explore further, and learn photography. I love taking pix of my 4 year old and my family. The question is this: where to start? what type of camera? My friend who is an excellent photographer, told me the other day his camera was $800...way over my budget. Can you say a good camera, reasonably priced, for the point and shoot types? and how to move on from there? you are great. thx.
