I know......I know......

this picture is from last year
so
for some of you
you've already seen it
but
come on
you know it's worth a second look
right
?
~~~~~
last year
with our
100 plus inches of snow
we fed the deer
lots
~~~~~
they would eat the birdseed
in a matter of seconds
so
we decided to give them
their own
HUGE
bowl of corn
and
they loved us as much as we loved them
~~~~~
but
we were also told
NOT
to feed the deer
as it's considered
"baiting"
and
if we got caught we'd be paying a huge fine
~~~~~
so what did we do
?
we kept feeding them
~~~~~
we're
REBEL'S
I tell you
~~~~~
this year
thankfully
the snow has come and gone
enough
so
that we aren't worried at all about the deer
~~~~~
but
believe me
if we get blasted again like last year
and my heart aches for my 4 legged friends
the smorgasbord
will magically appear once again
  1. I don't remember this photo -- I wonder if it was before I started to visit you. It's just lovely. I don't see deer in my neighborhood!
    Just wanted you to know that you are the recipient of an award for inspiration on my blog! Cheers!
  4. I love deer and would have to feed them too. Love your picture of them. 100 inches of snow! Wow! We don't get that much down here in the south, just a dusting every now and then. Your photography is beautiful and I love your writing style. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Oh, and tell your friend that is moving here to Cumming to leave me a comment if she gets lonely and wants to meet someone new.
