before my surgery yesterday,
i walked around the house and my art studio
and
played with my phone. well actually, the camera on my phone.
here are just a few of my instagram and hipstamatic photos.
~
i'm new to the whole iphone love affair
so if you have any apps that you think are full out "you can't live without" must haves
i'd love to hear about them
{especially the camera apps}
~
thank you everyone for the well wishes regarding my surgery.

ReplyDeleteFeel better and I hope you don't turn into a Vomiting Veronica, like in Four Weddings and a Funeral.
ReplyDeleteSending you wishes for a speedy recovery! And for something chocolate for just because. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the little peeks into your home. Take care, honey; rest up.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes as you recover from your surgery. I, too, hate the sound and smell of vomit and it will make me vomit just to hear it, so I empathize with your husband. I'm sending you healing thoughts and white light for a speedy recovery. We'll see you in a week or so.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and wishing your bunches of health and recovery.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing snippets of your "home"!... Hope all is well xo
ReplyDeleteI understand the camera on the iPhone 4S is outstanding! I'm one of those few who gave up their iPhone and went back to a phone. That's because I have an iPad2 and trying to stay in the budget meant I couldn't afford a data plan on 2 devices and the iPad I use for lots of different things.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm not quite a Ludite, but close. BTW, you My Dear, could use an etchasketch and get a marvelous image.
thank you for the lovely walk about... i am with you in real time...praying and anticipating goodness.
ReplyDelete-xok.
thinking of you, today...
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing! hope you are recovering very nicely!!
ReplyDeletemy name is Gail and I am an iphone addict....and I see that you are well on your way:) Love all the snippets of home! How do I find you on Instagram? My user name there is gailo_oliag....look for me when you feel better:)
ReplyDeleteFavorite apps? I have 24 camera related apps on my phone right now they are lots of fun:) My most used apps are hipstamatic, Filterstorm (it's great)and PicFrame or Diptic. Just for fun try CAMERAtan, CameraBag, Halftone, LensLight....well I could go on and on. Feel better soon!
xoxo
Hi Beth, I'm late to wish you well. I hope the surgery went reallly, really well and your recovery is easy and complete and a piece of cake.
ReplyDeleteI'm cheering you on.
xoxoxo jj
Your home sure looks lovely, inviting and full of positive energy which I'm sure is helping you to heal.
ReplyDeleteHuh? Surgery? OK -- reading backwards. Must keep on, but I hope all went well and that you are quite fine.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love these photos. Somehow, I think this is something I would have done, too.
My three son's gave me my Droid phone for my 66th birthday. I really like it but I still don't know all the in's and out's.
ReplyDeleteI'm behind on your posts...had to delay my India trip - not even out of my house yet! Leaving instead, Nov 14th, flying to LA, to go on Korea Airlines. Will stop two days in a very wintery Seoul. Couldn't resist the free stopover. This will give me only five months in India.
Didn't realize you were having surgery.
Wish you a speedy recovery,Beth!
What a wonderful collection of images..and an inspiring idea!! And - good to see you up and about...and recovering. Hope all continues to go well. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
