two posts in one day...now I really am crazy...

a dried up paper lantern
~
who knew the beauty could be there
long after the color that made her blush
faded away
~~
who knew that an early december walk
before the snow arrived last night
would provide me with such a gift
~~
I guess I knew all along
~~
maybe
because I'm always looking
~~
it's amazing to me
what a camera in your hands
can do to your heart

Wanted to tell you how much I love your "new" banner (maybe it has been up for a while.. I've been away from my computer for about 2 weeks now .... life getting in my way!)

I also liked the post about where your blog name came from... I always wondered about the address "more doors"...

PS: I think our hubbies have the same birthdays (11/29??)

  25. Beautiful words to go with the photo...

Having a camera in hand opens up the eyes, lifts the heart and mends the soul...

and some think its just a hunk of metal and plastic...

  26. It looks as though this little paper lantern is lit from within. Maybe it found it's inspiration to glow from observing you!
