absolutely the best...

the best photo shoot ever
that is
~~
the little boy
was so sweet
and
somehow managed to keep a smile on his face the entire afternoon
and
gosh
was he ever great at winking

the mom
oh
she was a fancy mom
a bit stiff
but fancy
~
the gloves
the jewelry
the attitude
and
wow
she worked the camera like a pro

the dad
was very quiet
hardly moving at all during the shoot
and
lacking a bit in the smile department
but
he hung in there
~
at first
I thought he was a bit overdressed
but
quickly decided
the top hat
the bow tie
and
the umbrella
were all part of his icy charm

right before the end of our shoot
while the little boy was busy waving at the birds
dad loosened up a bit
mom joined in
and
together they showed me some of the moves they recently learned
while watching
~so you think you can dance~
seriously
this family was so much fun
they made me smile
more than I made them smile
~~
now that's a special family

Thank you for making me smile this morning, Beth...

What a great way to start off a new week!

Will you please pass along to the Mrs. that her makeup was flawless, and I greatly admire her style. She's very Jackie O...

What a nice family you captured by photo. Maybe I know that family! Looks like a typical Wisconsin outdoor-kind of family.

this family and YOU make me smile every time I come to visit

that really is an amazing family... how long are they staying. Amazing families can overstay their welcome. If they are still there in March you many not think they are so amazing anymore... I suppose they will hide from you before then, so you will not tire of their visit!
LOVE THIS POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such a beautiful photoshoot ! I can see that the son have his father's nose !

(Did you create all this fun ? We had snow here yesterday - just an inch or two but it was not the snowfamily making kind - more like the frozen, get back inside immediately after shoveling kind!)

Love how you are making winter good for you whnerever you can, smart Chick !

And the best part of the photo shoot is that they made you smile and then they made us smile too. A special family indeed!

you have captured their character beautifully...

the boy takes after both parents, doesn't he?
he has his dad's nose and his mom's party on! attitude

dad looks like he's rolled around the dancefloor a few too many times...and mom is trying to flag down the next hunk on her dance card

That first snowman...perfection!
