i forgot to tell you....

happy weekend everyone
~but there's more~
~~
what i forgot to share
was that when i had issues with blogger, one of the suggestions was for me to clean out the cookies on my computer. so i did and blogger was fixed and overall, my computer seemed to be so much happier.
now granted, that might not be what fixed blogger, but it certainly can't hurt to do that every now and then. let's just call it general computer maintenance and pat ourselves on the back when it's done.
~
if you don't know what your cookies are or how to get rid of them, google it, as it's different for everyone depending on what computer you use.
~
so there you have it
a little tip from me

  1. i do clear my history and cookies frequently. recently (since intalling the latest upgrade of Internet Explorer) i've also had to shut down my PC every few days - just to clear out temp files to clear enough memory. guess i just surf too many blogs...

  2. When I was a computer newbie in the early 90s one of the IT guys where I worked took me under his wing. He stressed the importance of clearing the cache and history as well as doing regular defrags. Back then it was especially important because my first hard drive was only 540MB.

Even after all these years my browser is set to dump the history and cookies every time I log off and I my calendar reminds me to defrag every Sunday. It really does make a difference in performance.

  3. Cookies cleaning is so important, I am reminded of it every time I can not comment on my friend's blogs.
At home, Lovely Husband is in charge of cookies cleaning, nothing to do with computers though ;-)

  5. This is the most fabulous photograph! I'm an animal hugger, but birds and dogs are my favorites.

You've just captured this precious one's personality so well. I feel as if I could reach out and touch him (or her)...

I hope you have a blessed weekend.

  11. Thanks for the reminder. I always have good intentions of doing things like that (made right after doing it because it was causing problems) but then I forget - until I start having problems again...

  20. The thing I hate about clearing cookies is the way that I have to retype everything for while. How lazy can I be, anyway?
