take my word for it....

this is what it looks like outside
~
this photo was taken last year. but it looks the same this year.
i'd love to take a new photo for you. but i'd get blown away and end up in my neighbor's yard.
we have blizzard warnings out. yep. the wind is blowing that hard. we're talking up to 50 miles an hour. and cold. the high today will be 18 with a wind chill factor making it feel colder than the north pole.
~
so we're inside in for the day. poking fun at each other. eating chocolate covered pretzels.
~
and
who knows.
the highlight of our day just might be taking a nap

Stay in the cozyness of you warm home my friend. Can't look over for you in neighbours back yard sorry my friend simpy don't got the time. Or you might tie a bundle of big balloons on your waist and fly our way...do wear thick gloves, scarfs etc etc otherwise you'll still freeze all the way over here.

Happy times Beth. And I'm loving this image.
Hugs to keep you warm Dagmar

I hear ya! It's not suppose to reach 0 today and we have -30 wind chill and we got dumped on with snow yesterday...oh the fun of living in a witer wonderland...so we are making goodies to give as gifts, watching movies, playing games and breaking up fights between the little one's. Stay warm and happy Sunday...hope you get that nap!

And to think your area of the state didn't have any snow two weeks ago. How things change quickly here in Wisconsin!

Snowshoes are great fun by the way!

yay for WI, hey? We are holing up as well..and loving every minute of it. Sometimes, I am thankful that Mother Nature forces us to stay inside. She's pretty awesome that way. :) Enjoy your pretzels & nap today! ><>

I think your weather might be heading our way. It's been frigid here all week but today is rainy and warm. I think it's nap weather.
Love your snow pic!

A nap sounds good. There is something so still and peaceful in days like this.

And, here I am, complaining about the cold in the San Francisco area! Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. Stay warm, make mine a hot buttered rum, and enjoy that nap!

Do you have any idea how much I hate snow. The only thing I hate worse than snow is wind and ice. We have it all today. Your picture looks just like the lane to my house. A nap sounds like a perfect idea. Stay warm!

I love this, even more than I love real snow. We are getting heavy rain here in Maine. The wind is supposed to kick up later, so I am wondering if our weather is connected?

HE HE...just waking up. (yawn) I am hoping we can be shoveled out by tomorrow evening so I can get a few snow pictures. Enjoy your nap. Dee

Sometimes an excuse to eat comfort food and stay warm is what we need to unwind. Hope your pet is feeling better today. Stay snug.

The beautiful snow is always more appreciated on a low key nowhere to be kind of day. You know, like the song, "And since we've no place to go..." Enjoy.

It looks so serene... but I know you'll be needing long underwear (that's what my six year old neighbor said when hubs told her he was going to the North Pole!!).

Wow so much snow everywhere but here....very strange for this time of year in NH! Staying cozy and safe and plied with chocolate sounds like a good plan to me!

The wind is howling at my house right now....I am hoping that the power doesn't go out before I finish catching up on my favourite blogs! The power ALWAYS goes out at my house. sigh.
