these are my kids
and
just like every year
about this time
i remind them i need photos of them for christmas cards
i used to have to beg
but now
i think they kind of like it
because
i think they have finally figured out how beautiful they are
inside and out
and
how their goofiness
is what keeps me breathing
*
Well they are great looking kids - I need to have my own picture taken!
ReplyDelete>>and how their goofiness is what keeps me breathing.
ReplyDeleteAs a mom too, I say Amen to that!
Your kids *are cute* and they look like they're sweet kids, too. And those dimples!! I want some!
I think they appreciate the gorgeous photography their mom creates with and for them. Isn't it nice when they reach this age?!
Sharon

Your children are as gorgeous as they may be goofy!...and your photos are simply wonderful! Each time I try to get a shot of my two girls together...or my two grandchildren...one will look goofy while the other is serious...It seems impossible for me to get a shot of two siblings together that is as perfect as yours come out!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful beautiful...just like the mama !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful children, Beth. Love these fun shots... it's always SUCH A CHORE, the Christmas card... but I force it on them. Maybe this year.. THIS year.. will be better?

Your kids are gorgeous! Love these shots. Love that you embrace the randomness. Posed is good. Being themselves, great!

ReplyDeleteGREAT photos!
Beth, how wonderful to see pictures of your kids! They are beautiful...and absolutely, they look so at ease in front of your camera. Hamming it up even!
ReplyDeleteLove these photos!!!!
They look like happy young people. Must have had a good home life and good parents. Anyone we know?
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of your kids with the flare... aweseome!
ReplyDeleteThey are BEAUTIFUL kids! Although I don't know them, your photographs seem to capture their personality, charm, and spirit. Those eyes, the tilt of the eyebrow at times and the twinkle that goes with it, and those smiles.... I can see how they keep you breathing.
ReplyDeleteThey really are beautiful and I know what you mean about the breathing thing! I'm just home from the hospital ( my post today was a poem about hospitals which I'm sending on to the nurses - I hope it will make them laugh ). I'm still not up to par and, of course, for thirty days, I'm on this horrible restrictive diet
ReplyDelete( no Thanksgiving indulgences for me! ).
i can tell just by seeing these photos that they would be charming and fun to be around - beautiful young adults. great photos.
ReplyDeleteOh Beth, you've got the most wonderful couple of kiddo's and what a way to show them off...thanks for letting me have a peek at the love of your life.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of them too they have fun I can tell.
Hugs D
It's okay to be goofy at any age, just not with your shirt up and tummy showing after age 50. HA!
