nothing tying me down...

I have no plans this weekend
~~
I might go see "away we go" at the movie theatre
~
I want to take a road trip tomorrow just to take pictures
but
I'll probably end up out at the cottage cleaning
~
maxwell street day sales are happening downtown
but
I don't really need anything so this would truly be a people watching adventure
~
I have photos to edit for two consultations next week
but
those can wait until sunday night
~
I changed the sheets on the bed yesterday
so that's already done
~
I could go get a pedicure
but
I kind of like painting my own toes while I can still bend over to do it
~
if it stays cloudy and cool outside
I might end up in the studio making my little purse journals to give away
~
I guess
I'll start by taking a shower
and
then just let the day unfold before me
and
if anything amazing happens
you'll be the first to know

sometimes those are just the best days - have fun on whatever adventure you decide on

This sounds like the best kind of day....all of those possibilities. I would probably end up reading books all day.

Today's my baby-child's 21st birthday, though I don't know his plans so I'm making some of my own. There's an arts and crafts fair in my little town this weekend and I have a photo piece in the local art league's member show at the bank. Late this afternoon, I'm meeting people who take photos in Seattle tonight as part of the International Photo Walk night for July (my first time trying this). Saw "Moon" last night and it's magnificent!

Hi Beth,

Hope your day is being both fruitful and enjoyable.

Really liked your nephew's baseball pics and your jumping teenagers!

sounds like a plan. i love days where you can just let the day lead you where it may. my day was a little bit like that—actually a lot. now i'm posting my little care-package post. that is what led me over here—i needed to get your url for a link to you.

:)

see you later.

These are the best kinds of days in my world. (Although sometimes I need a little direction to get anything done!)

A weekend that unfolds before your eyes is a good weekend. If it leads nowhere other than the 4 wall of your house it's still good. It's a weekend to do what ever you desire and there is always next weekend.

this was such a soothing post. it appealed to me, of course, not the cool weather part. we are having our fair share of that as well. i wish i was at our cottage cleaning this weekend!

I found you at Holly's!! I love those days when there is nothing pressing and you can just let the day go as it will - wash over you. Hope you enjoy it completely!! Namaste, Sarah

Don't you find, when you are in a mood like this, that amazing things always happen. It's the blessing of being open and living in the moment.
