p.s. (you asked about me on my blog - yes, i've been having a bad time with the chronic illness stuff - lots of pain feeling blech. hoping to turn a corner for the better, soon… these beach photos are good therapy, at least for my spirits :)
oh---yeah!---back in Florida and ready for another round of jumping photos! can't wait to see this year's edition! why can't I be there when you are, so you can photograph my family? a girl can dream....and btw, thank you, Beth, for all your support and encouragement. You truly are an inspiration.
Oh that sunset! And that beach! And you in your happy place...no, no, not at all Beth, I. am. not. jealous. (okay, just a little bit! hee!). And I love the new banner! xo
Everyone needs a happy place. But I honestly don't know which one of these photos makes me happiest! I love the shadow man and those feathers? Oh, perfect!
I don't know where that is but it looks a lot like my happy place in Sanibel FL - and pretty much on any beach especially in the sun. Enjoy the happy places!
It didn't take me long to know where you were when you said you were in your happy place....Love these shots and it's good to see the jumping ones again....Have fun...I'm headed south on Thursday.....
that would be my happy place too if I could be there. the only thing is, would be getting all my family to move with me! so I guess that my home where snow is blowing is my happy place. nonetheless, I do appreciate your beach photos!
I have apparently been grading essays and not visiting blogs lately because I missed this happy post completely. It looks beautiful; I know you're enjoying the sun and sand (even though the temperature has been a bit cold).
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
ENJOY!!

ReplyDeleteThat last one made me laugh. I was wondering this morning if sand is as hard to photograph as snow in terms of light and correct color.
