News breaks can be good for the soul. What kind of pizza are we ordering? I think I'd like a vegetarian one with artichoke hearts and mushrooms and maybe just a light dusting of feta.
I need new boots too! It's hard to give up the old ones though... tattered as the toes may be, they just feel so darned good.

I am beginning to feel the same way about what I am listening to....when Michael is now away for several days every week, I do not turn on the news...and I long long ago stopped reading the paper. Sometimes it makes me feel like an ostrich, but mostly, I just need all the drama, tension, and yelling to leave my space.
That's the first meal we got when we got back from our trip---Hometown pizza---family owned locally--yumm!
I esp. stay away from the news before I go to school in the morning---I listen to praise songs, although the Rolling Stones have been known to pep me up on the drive in!
Personally I can't bear to read the news. Only once in awhile am I strong enough to subject myself to the muck. Hey, I like the idea of the boots. I made pizza for lunch today. Turned out really good too. I cut fresh herbs onto it.

I had to do some not very exciting or rewarding work for a few hours this morning, so I plugged in the old ear phones and turned it up!
Had a great morning, only because of the music.

love, love, love that photo. I stopped listening to the news earlier this year. Sometimes I am a little out of touch, but I don't really miss it, and I feel more peaceful. Not sure I will ever go back.

Music and my creating go hand in hand 95% of the time. It is always better than NEWS ! Hate news, unless it is good, which it hardly ever is tv or radio or even on the internet. I say Give up New, and Listen to music or nature instead. Life will be better for it, I bet !
