Oh, Beth, I am feeling you! We had a bit of a melt in Ohio, only to be told that it will snow EVERY DAY next week. I have done gone crazy!

Can I ask you something? I have been trying with absolutely no success to enlarge some of my photos in posts, but just can't figure out how to do it. I used to be able to drag the photo at the corners to enlarge it, but that option is no longer available. How do you do it?
trees are beautiful . dont you know they are tired of it too? bet that birdhouse is a full house?
Cabin fever makes you crazy, for sure but stagnant posts, never. Your photos and your open heart make that impossible.
Any chance of a little trip away to ease you through ? There are some great last minute deals out there, I think...

the photo's are beautiful but I know what you mean, I'm yearning for some sun, some color, some flowers, some sangria on the patio,flip flops, bright pink nails, swimming, sprinklers.... the list goes on!!!

I was so lucky to have gotten away to NYC for a few sunny clear days. It did wonders for my spirit.
But the snow is so beautiful really. As is the longing. The yearning for spring and new growth. Can't wait.

Hi Beth, just like you I have the most amazing pictures of winter scenery....yet I'm so fat up with it... I went down memory lane and found the one of the butterfly wich made me smile. And winter seemed a little further away. But there's also again more snow comming this evening....siiiigh.

You mean the white bird mansion on the high pole in the right of the photo? You are very good with a camera. It was minus two degrees Fahrenheit this morning. But today the sun is shining. Rare to have a sunny day. Your posts are still fresh and fun at least to your readers. I wish you could see your posts through our eyes.
i do, i see that bird house. i see all that frost and snow and gray skies and beautiful grasses. that lovely photograph. it is spring here...somehow it feels like it should still be winter. it is better not to fight the weather. as much as i know that bit of wisdom i seldom follow it. i watched your 'self-portrait' video and enjoyed it very much. you sounded just as i imagined, calm and soothing :)

I hear ya, Beth! The post I wrote this morning sounds almost exactly like this. They are calling for more winter weather tonight and tomorrow. *sigh*
Why do people get impatient with winter? We all know spring must come. Life is not in a rush. No matter how hard you insist or demand, everything happens when it is suppose to happen; everything comes in time, on time. Relax, enjoy each season. For we may not be here tomorrow.
Somehow I find taking pics of snow much more fun than taking them of freezing cold yucky muddy rain which is what we are experiencing right now and will probably be getting for the two months...mud season in New England ...March is my least favorite month of the year...

Yes it does make for crazy when winter keeps going on and on. I do see the birdhouse. Maybe the spring birds will be there soon. So many places are having a winter like yours, where we in Portland are having an early spring.
We've had snow here since mid-December Yet today with the sun shining on the snow, it looked so magical that my heart was lifted.
whatever crazy hold winter has on you...I am loving your palette these days. maybe winter hangs around just for you to embrace and give her warmth. ever think of that? ;)

Winter is very long and cold in Alberta and yes I do get cabin fever from time to time but honestly Beth I can never see myself living in a place that doesn't have all 4 beautiful, amazing and wonderful seasons, now I am ready for Spring.....:-) Hugs

Oh, I don't know how you do it - yes, I am actually visiting. Don't fall over, though it seems like forever. Although I have had fun with our bits of snow here, I am ready for warm weather (+ my heater just went out last night, surely a sign). I will visualize the beginning of spring for all of us.

A big snow storm for us right now...it is weird, but I seem to be enjoying winter this year...Not sure why, maybe it's a sign that I have officially lost my mind...
Baseball season starts in 3 weeks...that is a sure and certain sign of spring.
