I'll sit on that bench with you.....

"In order to do what really matters to you
you have to
first of all
know what really matters to you"
~~~~~
and maybe somedays
it's just best
to sit on a park bench
to sort out your feelings
and remind yourself
not to be scared of your life
but most of all
not to waste your life
~~~~~
while at
SQUAM
I heard
connecting with the earth
existing in the moment
finding your passion
living
~~~~~
and
that's what
I intend to do
~actually~
it's what I thought I was doing
but I wasn't
I've been faking it
"putting up a good front"
they say
so
if you see me
and I look the same
but maybe with a sparkle here or there
and you feel something differently
emerging from me
when you get a little closer
it's still me
only better
  1. Beth,
    I am so happy that you are back with added sparkles everywhere. YES I would have loved being there with you and your friends. You would have had to hold my hand though as I probably would of been freaking out with my insecurities.
    I am so happy that you had a fantastic time and that you found your sparkles.
    Peace,
    Angelica
  5. Hi Beth!
    You have such a way with words -- this post made my eyes moist -- beautiful thoughts, beautiful sentiment.
    Such a privilege to get to know you at Squam!
    Did you see that big skeeter bite on my arm in your second post? Makes me itchy just looking at it. But still, I've never met anyone who is so loved by mosquitoes more than you are --LOL!!
  8. I loved the thought of "I've been faking it." Sometimes we have to have that wake-up call -- and those come in the most unusual places. What an experience!
**I love reading the comments you leave, as they make me feel like we're sitting in my kitchen, having a cup of tea, discussing life and wondering where all the time has gone ...beth
